We met Mahina while on vacation on O'ahu, and she agreed to share some of her stories with us! Unfortunately our travel livestream audio kit needs updating, and we also had to work around the lawncare guys showing up unexpectedly. Can't wait for another chance to talk with Mahina about her work healing traumas through plant medicines.

"Mahina Alexander has been driven from a very young age to seek Truth. She is a healer in training as well as a mother, truth speaker, artist, writer and model for -mostly women owned and led- sustainable fashion & jewelry.
From childhood trauma, to modeling, to addiction, to awakening and healing she is a student of life and the experiences it offers her for expansion and evolution each and everyday.
She has used platforms like tumblr and instagram to connect and express her contemplative ideas and insights about the nature of our reality, our humanity & our divinity and share her philosophical inspirations and passions.
She believes that trauma is merely a teacher which can initiate us into a greater understanding of our true identity that can offer us the humility and compassion to remember what we’re really doing here and explore right relationship with our planet and one another beyond our fears according to past programming.
She is passionate about doing the inner work to release the [trauma] imprint, embrace her unique soul blueprint and inspiring others to do the same.
She is cultivating a safe online community space for those on a journey of healing and authentic self expression.
Through years of self inquiry working with plant medicines (psychedelics), meditation, journaling, deeply honest conversations, self study and self awareness to heal from the traumas of her childhood and adolescent years, she has had many realizations and initiations into deeper understandings of this human experience and has been gifted friendships with teachers young and old who have inspired her to do the work to make self love, integrity and compassion her most important values."

“An Outpost in the Borderlands,” Post-Orthodoxy explores the liminal spaces around changing our minds, and blazes trails into the wilds of what’s possible. Dark and Ainsley Sevier bring their experience as escapees from religious cults to diagnose cultish behaviors in society at large, and to share experiences with other social extremophiles.
